There isn't many original ideas to The Replacements - a sports comedy about screwball amateur football players who get a chance to play in the big leagues - but at least it doesn't crash and burn because it does have its moments. My THE REPLACEMENTS was full. I don't like Paul singing. THE REPLACEMENTS was a good annoyance, one that worked. THE REPLACEMENTS will not turn off men, since men are sci-fi buffs, are drawn toward technology.
